Throughout my life, I can always recall having a passion for science and the arts.
The pursuit of engineering, by no coincidence, has proven to be one of my most enlightening and defining experiences.
However, as I matured and became aware of the state of the world around me, I began to realize that my career path is replete with incredible responsibilities.
No matter the industry I find myself in, I will always be faced with decisions that will make a difference.
My mission is to ensure that the difference I make is a positive one.
Today, I am exploring the world of food, taking time to feed my soul as much as my stomach.
When the opporunity is right, I'm eager to find a role where I can design, engineer, and create to postively impact quality of life around the world.
Until then, I'll continue to hone my skills by pursing challenging new projects with critical peers.
I hope you have the time to explore and enjoy this portfolio.
If you have additional questions about my interests or experiences, I'd enjoy hearing from you.
My resume and contact information are available below.
All things good,
Listed below are some technical strengths, as well as skills I am interested in continuing to develop.
Not included are programming language fundamentals, including Python, Matlab, C/C++, VBA, and Arduino,
which I am comfortable working with and incorporating into projects.
The bars represent the skill range between Total Beginner and Practical Mastery.
In addition to my work, my passions span many areas. When I seek relaxation, I am drawn to music, cooking, and computer technology. When I feel restless, my hobbies and interests include travel, hiking, cycling, and snowboarding. I also engage my strategic and competitive spirits through video games with friends.
To increase tool changing repeatability and holding force, I designed, prototyped, and tested a kinematic coupler based on a common workholding solution.
Design, PrototypingTo reduce the need for processing quality control samples using an SEM, I designed and built an offline measurement unit capable of resolving nanotube forrest height to within 4μm.
Design, Metrology, Quality ControlAfter an oil rig failed catastrophically, my team and I determined that third-party components were installed in the failsafe valves. I conducted a comprehensive FEA analysis to determine if these components, known as packers, could have been the cause.
Failure Analysis, FEASeveral hundres miles of high-voltage electric transmission lines began failing shortly after installation. I developed a full-contact FEA model simulating the stress involved with installing the arms on the poles, as well the active service loads.
Commercial, Evidence Inspection, FEAI will gladly discuss the material and information presented here in greater detail, as well as answer any questions you may have. Please reach out using my contact information below, or simply complete the form and send it on its way.
